The ice coffee is consistently good here! 2024 update: Variety Coffee Roasters is my go-to for a solid cold brew fix. It's fast and the coffee is consistently good, though it'll cost you a few extra bucks. The music is pretty loud, which can be a plus if you need an extra boost, but not ideal if you're looking for a quiet workspace. The staff gets the job done, and the crowd is a mix of people working hard, chatting away, and some interesting characters – from homeless folks to punks and kids out of school. Overall, it's a decent coffee shop with a unique vibe, especially if you're after a quality cold brew.
I always enjoy coming here to get a cup Americano coffee. I enjoy this place as the employees that work there are always so pleasant and helpful. I usually purchase a bag of coffee, to send to my Friends out of state.On my visit two weeks ago, I purchased a three pack of mini coffees from Variety,a perfect gift for a friend of mine. I also purchased a box of the Road House Whole Bean Coffee for Myself. A major reason why I love to go to Variety Coffee, is to sit inside the Coffee Shop, while I am drinking my coffee and just listen to the wonderful music that they have on Spotify, it's so smooth, relaxing,makes you feel like a new person. My last reason for always going to Variety Coffee is for the mere reason that the staff there is always so warm and friendly. On my previous visit I had a young Lady by the name of Astrid ringing up what I purchased. She was so pleasant and helpful,answered all my questions,had a great personality. It's employees like her that make me want to keep going back to Variety Coffee time and time again.

I recently started coming here for my coffee and I like it. The batista is friendly and the coffee is good. I have gone here with a friend or 2 and I haven't had any bad experiences here. So yeah... I love that you get to add your lids and whatever else you need to add to your coffee without it being a thing to make it perfect. And they even do the coffee art, that always makes my heart melt when I see it.
Consistent friendly local semi chain coffee shop with tasty pastries, great chilled staff and excellent coffee whether drip or espresso based. And they open early which is an added bonus at 7am. Most places in the hood open at 8. Love this place and I visit frequently when In town!
